"It's nice to leave work and have a place to go home to."
Jay and Cathy lived and worked at a motel until a change in ownership left them unemployed and homeless. Although they eventually found new jobs, they were unable to afford shelter. VSH's Housing Resource Center assisted them in renting their first apartment in many years.

Programs

Virginia Supportive Housing (VSH) cannot end homelessness by only providing housing. While the programs and services that VSH offers are varied, the goals are the same; improving people's economic self-sufficiency and housing stability and promoting mental health and substance abuse recovery. By offering both services and housing, VSH provides a proven permanent solution to homelessness.
