"My life has changed so much. I can now take care of myself."
Before moving in to VSH's supportive studio apartments, Ben was homeless for many years
due to a disability. He feels that having support services staff right in his building has been a tremendous
help. They assisted Ben when he applied for disability income. Now he is able pay his own way.

Stories of Hope: Virginia Supportive Housing
"Stories of Hope" is a documentary film that captures how Virginia Supportive Housing is working to end homelessness in Virginia by transforming lives and communities.
It's an emotional piece filled with the stories of formerly homeless persons who now have stable incomes and housing thanks to the work of VSH.
The 14-minute film was created for use in presentations about the group. It's long, but is so engaging that it goes by in the blink of an eye. If you don't have time to watch the full-length film, a 6-minute web version is ready to view.
Special thanks to Elevation and SpangTV for producing the film.
